BBQ Wholesale Centre is such a life-saver when you are trying to organize a barbecue event on short notice.
Booking the barbecue pit was simple, you just have to pit the date, the park and the pit you want from the NParks website or any AXS machine. It costs $12-$20 depending on location, and you make payment on the website.
The stressful part is the preparation of the foods to be barbecued and fire-starting equipment. My mother used to prepare all the ingredients from scratch, it took so much time and effort.

The shop is much smaller than I anticipated. The left side of the shop are lined with huge chillers where the marinated meats and foods are stored. Next to the chillers are shelved stocked with all the equipment for barbecue.
Just let the staff know that you are a walk-in customer and they will pass you a laminated order form. You can indicate the quantities of the items you want and the staff will get your orders prepared in no time. They will go through the list of what you have ordered one by one to make sure they did not miss out anything.
Aside from prepackaged ingredients, they also have sauces, desserts, packs of ice and drinks as well as cutleries and barbecue tools.
Granted, the prepackaged food ingredients are not that healthy with too much sugar but they are really tasty. My friends and I totally enjoyed the Non-Spicy Otah, Chicken/Mutton/Beef Satay, BBQ Buffalo Wings, Mini Taiwan Chicken Sausage and Honey Baby Octopus. Having toasted Marshmallows at the end of the barbecue was the best.
